ALEJANDRA OROZCO LOZA
MEXICO

Alejandra Orozco Loza is a double Olympic medallist in Diving. In 2012 at the age of 15, Alejandra represented Mexico in London, where she became the youngest medallist in national history and took home a silver medal, followed by a bronze medal in Tokyo. Since then, Alejandra’s sporting career has continued to reach new heights, and this summer she will represent Mexico as the flag bearer in Paris for her fourth Olympic games. Her success has not come without hurdles to overcome – Alejandra nearly missed the 2023 World Championships due to government funding cuts – but the challenge only served to motivate her further. To fundraise for the games and continue to inspire future generations of female athletes, Loza and her diving partner offered motivational talks to children to encourage them to fulfil their sporting potential and not be discouraged by the challenges which come along the way.
